This Daimler Eight in the stunning shade of Emerald Green Metallic truly has it all: an interior in exceptional condition, a chassis in top form – every detail exudes pure quality.
Originally delivered new in Belgium, the car was later imported into the Netherlands by its second owner – a common path for such exclusive classics. The first owner must have been a true enthusiast, as were the subsequent custodians. Everything about this Eight reflects passion and care.
The colour itself is rare: Emerald Green Metallic paired with an interior finished in elegant Cashmere leather – a combination as beautiful as it is unique. Naturally, the cabin is adorned with abundant burr walnut. Where most woodwork tends to fade under UV light, here it remains as if new: deep in colour, rich in shine.
As mentioned, the most recent owner was also a true aficionado – and a loyal client from the very beginning. When the time came for a more practical car, the Daimler found its way back to me.
The previous owner clearly valued quality – and it shows. No partial timing chain modification, but the whole package. No settling for tired rear dampers, but a brand-new set installed.
A major highlight of this Daimler is the condition of the underbody; there are no serious signs of rust to be found – nowadays truly exceptional. Naturally, the service file is present, complete with a fully stamped maintenance book. The most recent major service was carried out in early September 2025, performed in-house. At that time, the rear shock absorbers were replaced with brand-new Bilstein units. The rear subframe bushes were renewed as well. The air conditioning system was serviced and fitted with a new condenser, while the upper two lambda sensors were replaced with original new items.
Of course, perfection hardly exists. The headliner has not yet been refurbished and is starting to sag. Both bumpers show some scuffs, and there is a small dent in the left rear door.
