What a delightful appearance this XF Sportbrake has — sporty, yet far from ostentatious. A Jaguar with a fresh, original look, a clear history, and a fully documented service record. And that’s exactly what we were looking for when we bought this XF from its first owner some time ago.
The service history — that’s what truly matters. Even though all maintenance was up to date, we still had a major service carried out last week by our trusted specialist. Both the interior and exterior were also completely detailed. The result: an XF that drives beautifully — and looks even better.
This example is the facelift model, built in 2014. The stunning, sporty front design, improved handling, and even more luxurious interior — everything has been refined. Leather upholstery is standard in the XF, this time finished in the elegant Cream color. Heated, electrically adjustable front seats are present, and the tailgate opens automatically. Approach the car, and the doors unlock automatically as well — no need to reach for the key; it can stay in your bag or pocket. Ideal.
The Jaguar XF is a remarkably versatile car — ideal for our own use, too. Easy to handle, plenty of interior space, and a generous level of luxury. Whether it’s long highway stretches at high speed or navigating a busy city center, the XF feels at home everywhere.
Just the combination of fine leather, aluminum accents, and the beautiful Ebony wood trim — a true feast for the eyes. The leather remains in excellent condition, as does the interior as a whole. The exterior, too, is in top shape: no stone chips, no faded headlights, no odd scratches or dents.
The automatic gearbox, with no fewer than eight speeds, shifts smoothly and quickly. The touchscreen is easy to operate, and pairing your phone for calls and music streaming happens effortlessly. When reversing, the screen shows exactly what’s behind you. The tailgate opens automatically, and parking sensors are fitted both front and rear. Another big plus with the Sportbrake; air suspension in the rear is a standard luxury!
The XF feels lively — no surprise, as it’s powered by the wonderful and reliable 2.2D engine, a proven performer. You might expect high fuel consumption, yet over the past 10,000 km the trip computer shows an average of just 5.2 liters per 100 km — nearly 1 in 20!
The condition of this Jaguar XF is truly impressive. No strange noises, no vibrations, and of course, no warning lights or faults. You might wonder if there’s anything to mention? As with any car, there’s always something small. In this case, two tiny door dings on the right-hand side from a careless neighbor — and that’s it.
The Jaguar has been fully maintained by official dealers and specialists; no service interval was ever skipped. Naturally, all invoices are present, the service booklet is complete, and both remote keys are in excellent, almost new condition.
We’ve driven about 10,000 km with this XF ourselves and enjoyed every minute of it. Meanwhile, we’re preparing another Range Rover Sport for our own use, which means this XF can now go to its next enthusiast. A fresh MOT (APK) was just performed, during which the front brake pads were replaced. Together with the recent major service, this Jaguar is completely ready for its new owner.
