Classic open-top Bentley motoring — every day of the year.
With just one press of the start button, the mighty 560 bhp Bentley W12 awakens with a magnificently deep growl. Hand-built in Crewe, this 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 produces an impressive 560 horsepower. When cruising, it emits a refined, sonorous tone, yet under firm acceleration, it delivers that unmistakable, thunderous twelve-cylinder roar.
What a presence — the Bentley Continental GTC. Even if you’re familiar with high-end British motorcars, a Bentley Convertible remains an experience all of its own. A very special one. The powerful W12 up front, the exquisitely crafted cockpit surrounding you — it’s a sensation that captures everything Bentley stands for.
This example looks particularly striking in Silverlake Blue, a truly expressive shade. It’s no coincidence this was Bentley’s launch colour at the time, featured prominently in every brochure of the era. The exterior pairs beautifully with the all-leather interior: Magnolia as the main hide, contrasted with Imperial Blue secondary hides, and Magnolia stitching. The original 19-inch 5-spoke alloys complement the timeless Grand Tourer design perfectly.
A Bentley is a car where everything simply feels right. A car to experience in your own way. Its quality shines through in every detail — the materials, the craftsmanship, the sensation. Whether you’re enjoying a relaxed drive on a rainy afternoon or an exhilarating tour through the Ardennes, the Continental GTC W12 fulfils every wish with ease.
Bentley are true masters of the craft — blending every fine element the automotive world has to offer into a single work of art. And should you have any doubt: its standard four-wheel drive ensures grip and confidence even on wet or wintry days. The sculpted rear seats genuinely accommodate two adults, while the generous boot provides ample room for all the luggage that belongs to a proper Grand Tour.
This Continental GTC was first delivered new in Germany in 2007 and found its way to us via a Bentley dealership, where it was traded in for a new GT. Upon arrival, we immediately entrusted the car to Brabo Rolls-Royce & Bentley in Hillegom — renowned technical specialists — for a thorough service and inspection.
A number of items were addressed, including the well-known vacuum system: the vacuum pump and lines were replaced. In addition, the front brakes — discs and pads — were renewed. Naturally, a full maintenance service was carried out, and the MOT (APK) was freshly completed.
The condition of the interior is excellent. Not surprising, as we recently had it meticulously detailed. The leather has been carefully cleaned and treated, now showing the correct, elegant matte finish it should have. The chassis feels solid and composed, and the tyres roll quietly without excessive road noise. The windows close properly, and both keys are present. The GTC presents beautifully overall — the paintwork has been polished to a fine gloss, and the interior is in outstanding condition.
The elegant, flowing Birdseye Maple veneer, the refined chrome accents, and the contrasting leather — a Bentley interior truly offers an experience of its own. All this beauty is complemented by delightful comforts such as heated and massaging seats, a high-quality audio system, and of course, that magnificent engine sound. Pure enjoyment.
There’s much more to say about this remarkable Bentley, but the best impression comes from seeing and driving it yourself. You’re warmly invited to visit us at our location in Uden, The Netherlands — coffee is ready.
